Service Learning

Partnerships with Museum L-A are encouraged, regardless of grade level. We will eagerly collaborate with educators to establish the core components of Service Learning:

• Academic Integrity – Making sure that it is relevant and demonstrates learning that fits the curriculum or Learning Results.
• Student Ownership – Making sure that students determine project selection and implementation.
• Apprentice Citizenship – Students feel they belong to the community because they are meeting a real community need.

College Internships

Internships allow advanced college students to gain in-depth experience in the community while assisting in a particular aspect of museum operations.
