LEWISTON -   Norway Saving Bank presented a $1,000 check to Museum L-A at its Open House and ribbon-cutting ceremony on July 23 at the bank’s newest branch location in downtown Auburn.

Norway Savings Bank’s Auburn branch, located at 31 Court Street, is their 22nd branch in Maine and is staffed by five local employees. They offer a full array of deposit and loan services for personal and business banking as well as asset management services, including trust and estate planning, investment management and financial planning.

Museum L-A organized a welcome program last month to introduce a group of bank executives and staff to the Lewiston-Auburn area – from its history to its ongoing revitalization. The program included a tour of the Museum.

“We are so pleased they are interested in getting to know the history and the spirit of people in this community,” said Rachel Desgrosseilliers. “This generous donation will help support continued growth for the Museum at a very important time and we are very appreciative.”
