Help tell a story and increase the educational potential of Museum L-A!
The Museum is seeking objects, documents, photographs, and memorabilia that help tell the industrial and cultural story of Lewiston-Auburn from 1850 to today. By donating your artifact you will enable the stories of the past to be audible and visual for future generations to come.
Artifacts accessioned into Museum L-A will be thoroughly researched and receive the highest standards of care. The Museum cannot agree to permanently exhibit any donated item as a condition of donation. Space constraints limit the number of items on exhibit at any one time.
If desired, a formal appraisal of a gift is the responsibility of the donor. The museum can provide a list of professional appraisal organizations that can help you find a suitable appraiser in your area. The IRS does not permit the benefiting institution to appraise donated objects.
Offers of donation should be addressed to:

Coordinator of Collections and Visitor Services

Please do not ship or drop off potential donations before contacting the Museum.
